The Truman Scholarship recognizes future public service leaders by awarding $30,000 toward graduate school. The application is open to junior level students who plan to go on to careers in public service. Successful applicants will have outstanding service and leadership records as well as an academic record that indicates success in the graduate program of the student's choice. 


U.S. Citizen or U.S. National, full time undergraduate student with junior standing. Please visit the Truman Foundation website for a video on how Truman scholarships support the next generation of public service leaders. 


Students must be nominated by their current institution of study and are encouraged to contact their campus representative early in the application process.  Campus deadline: Monday January 9, 2017
